Livingreen Store Profile

Livingreen is a conscious effort to empower and provide customers with the best
product choices available to support a sustainable lifestyle. It’s focus is to
provide healthier, more sustainable choices in building materials and interior
furnishings to individuals and design professionals.

They define their product selection through “shades of green”, a matrix of
criteria that through research and review includes a product’s source,
packaging, transportation channels, manufacturing process, labor conditions,
material content, effects on health and the environment, length of lifecycle,
reusability, versatility, recyclability and the manufacturer’s commitment to
sustainable growth. Livingreen strives to give customers a choice of product
along the “green spectrum” and help inform their decisions for their own health
and wellbeing.

The Culver City store, across from Sony Studios is approximately 5,500 square
feet of retail space with a spacious and lofty interior. Inside you will find defined
areas with examples of green material choices for flooring, countertops, wall
coverings and energy systems as well as home furnishings, natural bedding and
safe cleaning supplies. The original Santa Barbara store just off State Street
has a relaxed neighborhood vibe and around 2,500 square feet of retail space
with a fireplace and beautiful garden courtyard. The Santa Barbara location
provides the same mix of product and material choices.

A pioneer in the industry, with seven years experience, Livingreen stores
showcase local artisans, host educational seminars, workshops and family
focused events. Exhibitions of artists doing related work around environmental
themes and presentations by different organizations of concern frequently
appear at both stores.

Livingreen also provides consulting services for building, remodeling and
sustainable lifestyle changes with a LEED certified sales staff and through
collaboration with local green architects and designers.

Livingreen Online which premiered in the fall of 2006 features an overview of
products carried in the store, in-depth product information, a quarterly
newsletter, industry links and online
