1. Curb appeal. 2. Interior space organization. 3. Maintenance.
Curb appeal as a sales point is obvious. If one is not attracted enough to go inside, no sale is likely.
Once inside, the WOW factor immediately takes over. Open spaces, family room/gourmet kitchens, luxurious baths and master bedrooms with walk-in closets, etc. all make prospective buyers want to pay full price and sometimes compete for the privilege.
An easily maintained and well cared for home is far more attractive to most buyers and nobody today wants to become a full time caretaker to a home that is hard to maintain.
A great deal of thinking by our designers has gone into how to meet the above criteria.
The E-Space home can be very casual in nature and therefore much easier to maintain. Of course if “formal” is mandated, it can be easily accommodated within the concept.
However, the strongest sales point is the WOW generated by a stranger walking through the front door and discovering high ceilings and soaring spaces. As determined by research conducted at the University of Minnesota and reported in Science Daily April 25, 2007, ceiling heights affect sales in a very positive way.
Of course, it is far more important to thoroughly enjoy living in a home for many years before resale becomes a factor. E-Spaces are inspirational.
